Run the Stafford 10K for FREE with UHNM Charity

Staff and patients from University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust are calling on local people to take part in the Stafford 10k next month and help improve the care and experience of people using NHS services.

Free places are being given away by UHNM Charity to those who take up the challenge on Sunday 25 September.

Funds raised will be used to improve patient care and experience at County Hospital in Stafford and the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Steve Rushton, Head of UHNM Charity said: "We are asking local people to sign up for the 10k and to run, or walk, for us so we can raise vital funds to improve the NHS services for local people who use them. Every step our runners take along the route will help us to improve the care and experience of the local people who use our services every day.”

“Our Fundraisers make such a difference to our work and I encourage anyone thinking on running this year’s race to do so for UHNM Charity.”

As well as getting a free place, runners for UHNM Charity will get lots of fundraising support to help them raise as much funds as possible and a charity running top.

Steve added: “You could be a first time runner or someone seeking a personal best. As long as you are fit and have trained beforehand you can take part and help us to make a real difference to local people in Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent- why not get a few friends to sign up too?"
