Jamie takes on Brighton Marathon for UHNM Charity

A dedicated runner has gone the distance and raised more than £2,000 for UHNM Charity after completing the Brighton Marathon.

Jamie Rowlinson, from Hove, wanted to raise money in recognition of the care his cousin, Jade, received after being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2024.

Jamie said: “Jade, being selfless and so resilient, has told me on numerous occasions that what affects her most is knowing that children must go through treatment too. Which is why she has asked that the money raised goes straight to the Staffordshire Children’s Hospital to enhance the experience of the kids being treated there.”

Jamie successfully completed the Brighton Marathon in over four hours and hopes to raise more funds in the future for UHNM Charity.

Jamie added: “Thank you so much for all your donations! It was very hot, but the atmosphere at the marathon was amazing!”
