Harley-Davidson owner's group make wheeley-good donation to Children's Hospital

Being in hospital can be a stressful and upsetting experience for anybody, let alone young people.

That’s why we were thrilled to welcome the Stoke Chapter to SCH, who donated a number of arts and craft materials for both inpatients and day-case patients to enjoy during their stay.

Dennis Rawlingson from Stoke Chapter said: “We did this all to make the children smile, that’s worth more than anything. If we can help as many children as possible smile and laugh and bring some enjoyment to them that’s all we’re bothered about.”

Thank you also to Tri Services and Veterans Support centre and Coopers Croft Care Home for their donations.

Annaliese Beech, Play Assistant added: “This donation will lift the mood of both inpatients and day-case patients. A big thank you to everybody who’s got involved in making the donation possible, it will make a big difference to patients, their families and our staff.”

An official part of the worldwide Harley-Davidson owner’s group, the Stoke Chapter organise rallies, rides and raise funds for local charities.
