Fundraising in Memory of Pat Wood Supports Ward 117

The Wood family, their friends, and The Littleton Arms in Huntington have raised a significant amount of money for Ward 117 at Royal Stoke University Hospital.

The fundraising was carried out in memory of Pat Wood, who spent 16 months under the care of UHNM teams while receiving treatment for TB meningitis. During this time, Pat was supported by ambulance crews, medical teams, and ward staff throughout a long and complex illness.

Staff from Ward 117 shared their thanks for the generosity shown.

Through their hard work, kindness, and various fundraising events, they raised a remarkable amount of money that will have a lasting impact on the ward."

The donation will support Ward 117 and help staff continue providing care to patients and families.
