Corporate Golf Day 2023: Tee off and raise funds for UHNM Charity!

Barlaston Golf Club is getting ready to host its second fundraising Corporate Golf Day in partnership with UHNM Charity on Friday 16 June.

The event, which is sponsored by LD Property and Tile Central UK follows on from the success of last year's golf day which raised almost £6,000 for UHNM Charity's work at the Royal Stoke and County hospitals (UHNM).

Teams will play 18 holes of golf followed by a BBQ from 5pm when golfers can be joined by friends and family for an evening of entertainment.

Laura Damant of LD Property said: "UHNM Charity is a fantastic charity that does so much for patient experience and comfort at UHNM. To be involved with them as the main sponsor for their annual Golf Day is a pleasure for us as a local business."

"The money UHNM Charity raise helps to purchase equipment to benefit thousands of local people every year.”

Danny Bowers of Tile Central UK said: “We’re delighted to continue our fundraising for UHNM Charity by sponsoring this year's Golf Day. At some point in our lives we will be in need of the services that our amazing local NHS provide.

“As a local company, we wanted to show our support and would encourage local businesses to sign up and get involved for a spectacular day's golf at Barlaston Golf Club."

Steve Rushton, Head of UHNM Charity added: “We are delighted to be able to run another UHNM Charity Corporate Golf Day and are very grateful for the support of LD Property and Tile Central UK."

"This year we are hoping even more people and local businesses will join us on the green and tee off and help make this annual event the best yet."

This year's sponsors have arranged a fantastic prize for the day's winning team worth £1,000! Winners will enjoy an overnight stay at the incredible Celtic Manor Resort with two rounds of golf for four!
