Colleagues complete climb for Children's Hospital

A huge thank you and well done to everybody at recruitment company Adecco who battled the wind and rain to successfully climb Scafell Pike in the Lake District for UHNM Charity.

The team scaled the 978 metres to the top of England’s mountain to raise almost £550 for Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke.

Rebecca Lowndes, Principal Recruitment Consultant said: “Each year we choose a charity to fundraise for and this year we chose UHNM Charity and Staffordshire Children’s Hospital at Royal Stoke. We are over the moon to have completed such a challenging climb."

"After a slight detour, some rock climbing and non-stop torrential rain and wind we made it to the top. It was one of the hardest walks we have completed but so rewarding, and happy that we have been able to raise such a great amount for a wonderful cause.”

Mark Jones, Directorate Manager at Staffordshire Children's Hospital at Royal Stoke added: "We're thrilled that the wonderful team at Adecco have chosen to fundraise for our children's hospital. Every step on their challenge will help to improve the care and experience of UHNM's youngest patients and their families."
