4FITT Gym Raises £7,378.54 for Critical Care in Memory of Liam Zwetschnikow

4FITT Gym has completed a major fundraising challenge in memory of their colleague and friend, Liam Zwetschnikow. The team took on 24 classes in 24 hours and followed it with a community fundraiser day at the gym. Their combined effort raised £7,378.54 for the Critical Care team at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.

Staff, members and supporters joined throughout the challenge. Every session was filled and the fundraiser day brought in strong support from the local community.

Jill Bogucki, Matron on Critical Care, said, "What an amazing achievement by the team at 4FITT Gym, completing 24 classes in 24 hours and a fund raiser day, raising an incredible £7,378.54 in memory of their colleague and friend, Liam Zwetschnikow. We are deeply touched by their dedication and generosity, and so grateful that they have chosen to support our Critical Care. Their kindness will make a real difference to our patients and families."

The money raised will support ongoing care, equipment and improvements across the Critical Care Unit. The gym’s challenge pays tribute to Liam and shows the strength of community support for patients and families at Royal Stoke.
