Without you we couldn’t continue to improve the quality of care, comfort and experience of the people who use UHNM services every day of the year.
You can help us by making a donation, by becoming a regular donor, by fundraising or by leaving a gift for the charity in your Will. In this section you’ll find all the information you need to make a difference today and into the future.

Why we use photos and videos
UHNM Charity shares photos, videos, and stories to:
- Celebrate fundraisers and supporters
- Show how donations make a difference
- Promote events and appeals
We always aim to do this respectfully and in line with GDPR and NHS guidance.
Your choices matter
If you choose to be in a photo or video:
Please be aware that it may appear on UHNM Charity’s website, social media, printed materials, or be picked up by local, regional or national media.
If you do not wish to be included, just let a member of the Charity Team or the photographer know at the time, and we’ll make sure you’re not in the shot.
When at events
- We may take photos or film to promote our work.
- Signs will let you know when this is happening.
- Please tell us if you prefer not to appear.
On social media
We love seeing your posts about UHNM Charity!
Social media helps us reach more people and show how donations make a difference.
However, it’s important to remember that once something is shared online, it can spread quickly and be difficult to fully remove.
When posting:
Be respectful and positive
Get consent before sharing anyone else’s image or story
Don’t share patient details or confidential information
If you ask UHNM Charity to remove a post it has created, we will do so as quickly as possible - but please note:
Once a photo, video or story has been shared online, others may have already downloaded, copied or shared it, and it may still appear elsewhere outside of our control.
We will do everything we can to limit further use, but complete removal from the internet cannot be guaranteed.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can:
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Request corrections or removal
- Withdraw consent at any time
We never sell or share your information for marketing.
