Cyclists saddle up for Charity

A group of friends have raised over £3,300 for UHNM Charity by cycling the length of Wales.

The nine cyclists completed the 200-mile ride from Cardiff to Llandudno in aid of the Renal Unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital who have been treating friend Mike Buxton following the removal of both his kidneys.

Liam helps fellow child patients

Our patients and their families are the real winners after a young UHNM Charity supporter donated his competition prize to UHNM’s Children’s Department.

Kind-hearted Liam Harrison from Wolstanton donated two Playmobil statues to our Children’s Play Room after winning them in a competition at his local ODEON cinema.

It's 'Op Gear' for Hospital Cars

Younger patients at the Royal Stoke University Hospital can now swap wheelchairs for four wheels thanks to UHNM Charity supporters.

Children booked in for operations can now motor through wards and corridors straight to surgery on three specially-designed push cars.

A Crafty way to Raise Chairty Cash

The team from YMCA North Staffordshire NCS - National Citizen Service have kindly decided to raise money for UHNM Charity as part of their 2-week Social Action Project.

The group have set themselves the challenge of raising £500 for our Children's Intensive Care Unit by selling a range of handmade crafts and raffle tickets at markets across the local area.

UHNM Charity in Oar of Iona's Fundraising

A Stafford fundraiser has covered the distance of the English Channel on a rowing machine to raise funds for University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) Charity.  

It took Iona Botfield four hours and fifteen minutes to row the 20.7 miles of the Dover Straight in aid of the hospital's charity.
