Friends complete hike for Critical Care

A group of friends have completed a 50-mile sponsored hike in aid of UHNM Charity

‘Made of Ale'; Steven Mills, Elliot Jones, Steve James, Matthew Bowker, Stephen Woods, Ben Hulse and Dean Bishton who have completed the 50-mile Longmynd Hike to raise funds for our Critical Care Unit.

UHNM Charity and Amazon go gold for children with cancer

Child cancer patients will benefit from a £1,000 donation from Amazon Rugeley.

Staff at online company's distribution centre joined the global movement #AmazonGoesGold and hosted a gold-themed #PJammin party to support local families affected by childhood cancer. The money will be used to enhance patient experience in Children's Oncology at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.

Cyclists saddle up for Charity

A group of friends have raised over £3,300 for UHNM Charity by cycling the length of Wales.

The nine cyclists completed the 200-mile ride from Cardiff to Llandudno in aid of the Renal Unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital who have been treating friend Mike Buxton following the removal of both his kidneys.

UHNM Charity in Safe Hands thanks to Walk

UHNM Charity are in safe hands thanks to the support of the Royal Stoke University Hospital’s Security Team.

The members of the security staff, which is ran by Sodexo, raised almost £1,200 by completing a 30-mile sponsored walk from Alderly Edge to the hospital in aid of Children’s Services.

Liam helps fellow child patients

Our patients and their families are the real winners after a young UHNM Charity supporter donated his competition prize to UHNM’s Children’s Department.

Kind-hearted Liam Harrison from Wolstanton donated two Playmobil statues to our Children’s Play Room after winning them in a competition at his local ODEON cinema.
