A Consultant Urologist from the Royal Stoke University Hospital is tackling Africa’s highest point to raise funds for UHNM Charity and improve the experience of his patients.

Mr Anurag Golash, Consultant Urologist from the University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHNM) will be scaling Mount Kilimanjaro from 22 July to raise funds to improve the Urology Ambulatory Unit he works in.

NHS trio tackle to triathlon again

A trio of NHS staff from North Staffordshire are competing in a grueling triathlon for the second year running to raise funds for UHNM Charity. 

Leaders of the 'High Intensity Project', Dr John Oxtoby, UHNM Medical Director , Robert Bryan, UHNM Head of Allied Health Professions and Gail Lowe, High Intensity Project Manager from Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) with be competing in the Cheshire Triathlon on Sunday 12 May to raise funds for UHNM Charity.

Trust staff focus on photography competition

Staff and patients at the Royal Stoke University Hospital can now enjoy some of the region’s stunning scenery and wildlife without leaving the building thanks to a UHNM Charity competition.

The winning snaps from a staff photography competition have been displayed across the hospital site.

A longstanding supporter celebrated 24 years fundraising for UHNM Charity by holding a darts marathon in her local pub

Glenys Beard raised £1,610 for the Critical Care Unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital by holding a 12-hour match with family and friends at The Star at Cotton near Oakamoor earlier this month.
