Staffs Police Donate to Patient Experience

Elderly inpatients at County Hospital who are unfortunately unable to have visitors during the Coronavirus pandemic have been given a boost by PC Claire Bond and our friends at Staffordshire Police.

PC Bond donated toiletries and other items donated by officers and staff at Staffordshire Police HQ, Stafford Police Station as well as by members of the public and shops across the county town.

She's been a supporter of our work since receiving treatment at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust for life-changing injuries after being hit by a car during a pursuit in Stafford in September 2018.

PC Bond said: "We were recently made aware that elderly patients are unable to have visitors due to the Lockdown following the Coronavirus pandemic, and are therefore finding it hard to obtain toiletries."

"We have rallied around Staffordshire Police stations and local shops to get you as much as we can to further boost patient experience. I'm hoping to raise some more donations soon."
