Keep Fit Group's Year of Fundraising

 Pheonix Keep Fit 8.3.19

A local keep fit group has raised almost £2,000 for the UHNM Charity over the past year.

The Pheonix Keep Fit Group from Newcastle-under-Lyme raised over £1,800 in the past year for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The group, who meet every Friday at the town's Methodist Church and are run by long-time supporter Ann Culley, raised the money through keep fit classes, sponsored walks and selling knitted baby items, and were presented with their cheque by UHNM Charity Manager Steve Rushton.

Funds will be spent to further enhance the equipment and family rooms on the unit at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
