Stoke-on-Trent’s iconic half marathon - The Hanley Economic Building Society ‘Potters ’Arf’ is back on Sunday, 12th June, and we want you to run on behalf of the UHNM Charity and make a real difference to the care and experience of local people at Royal Stoke and County hospitals.
UHNM Charity is a registered charity which provides millions of pounds in additional funding for University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. This funding enables the Trust to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment and to enhance patient experience and comfort for people who are cared for at County Hospital in Stafford and at Royal Stoke University Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent. The charity also funds additional training for staff and research programmes.
The Potters 'Arf is where avid runners or walkers take part in a 13.1-mile race. The event has huge mental and physical health benefits, as well as raising thousands of pounds for local charities, including us, the UHNM Charity.
Entries for the Potters ‘Arf are now open, and we have 50 spaces available at a reduced charity rate of £15. Sign up with us today and receive a free UHNM Charity t-shirt.
On the day we will have a great support team, our well-being wagon will be on site so you and your family/friends can easily spot us.
All that we ask if that you raise a minimum of £100 for the UHNM Charity.
